Hello and welcome! My name is Sarah and I am a lifelong bookworm who hails from Arlington, Virginia. I have just finished getting a degree in English as well as minors in Biology and Medieval, Renaissance, and Reformation Studies from Saint Joseph’s University. My love of reading began at an early age. To hear my mom tell it I was begging people to read books to me before I ever learned to talk and was barely toddling on chubby legs. The first time I remember falling in love with reading was the day that I sat down and read the first Percy Jackson book in a day. There was something magical about being so fully pulled into a world that I didn’t notice the passage of time or a growling stomach. Ever since I have shared my passion for reading with anyone who would stand still long enough and now I am excited to share it with you all.

With this blog I want to reach readers like myself who have outgrown a lot of books that fall into the Young Adult fiction category but aren’t quite ready to move fully into Adult Fiction. I want to focus on the emerging New Adult fiction genre but also simply be able to share with you anything that sparks my interest and brings reading pleasure. In addition to fiction of all genres I have recently been enjoying some nonfiction as well as starting to read some graphic novels. I hope to cultivate a community that can have good bookish discussions and share each other's favorite finds.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog and if any of this resonated with you, feel free to subscribe so that you will get an email notification when I post my next find. If you’d rather you can follow me on Instagram @_WildflowerBooks. I’d love to hear your thoughts and opinions and if you feel up to it, drop a comment and let me know what youre reading right now.
